These terms are the agreement between you and Frontlot for using frontlot.ai, including the demo and free-preview form. If you buy a Frontlot service, the agreement or invoice we send you also applies. If that agreement conflicts with these terms on something about the paid service, the agreement you signed controls for that service.
These terms
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. If you are accepting for a dealership or another business, you confirm that you have authority to accept for that business.
Who we are
Frontlot builds and runs websites for independent car dealers. The site also describes a simpler version for other local businesses. If we sell you that service, these terms and the agreement we send you cover it. Contact:

Using this website
You may use frontlot.ai to read about Frontlot, read the blog, open the demo sites, and request a demo or a free preview. The demo sites use made-up dealers and sample cars so you can click through the template. They are not real customers and not real inventory.
Prices, plan names, and feature descriptions on the site are general information. A price range is not a quote. We confirm scope, price, and timing with you before paid work starts. Setup time depends on how many stores you have and where your inventory comes from. We give you a firm date when we agree on the work.
Demos and free previews
Sending the form does not create a paid contract and does not hold a place in line. We will reply when we can help. We may say no to a request.
If you ask for a free preview, you give Frontlot permission to use the public listings and photos on the website address you provide, to build a private preview of your store on our template. Previews are private and are not indexed by search engines. A preview is for you to review. It is not your live website. We may take a preview down when you have had a reasonable time to look at it, or sooner if we need to. The preview is free. Asking for one does not oblige you to buy anything.
Paid services
What a paid plan includes, what it costs, and how long it runs are set out in the agreement or invoice we send you. Plans on the website are described per location, per month. Where the page lists a one-time setup fee, that fee is part of the quote we confirm with you. You can cancel or change a paid service the way your agreement describes. If you are not sure what applies to your account, email hello@frontlot.ai.
The dealer website service, including hosting and the pages and forms in your plan, is a live service. AI website chat, where your plan includes it, is live: it answers on the site, introduces itself as an AI assistant, and sends the lead to you.
The AI phone and text tools are not live. They are in owner-only testing and are not answering customers. A plan description that mentions calls or texts, or a page on this website that describes those tools, does not mean they are answering your customers. We will not turn them on for your customers until we tell you they are ready.
On a plan that includes ads, you pay Google and Meta directly for the ad spend. Our fee covers running the campaigns, not the media cost. We do not promise a search ranking, a number of leads, or a sales result. Rankings depend on things outside our control, including your reviews and your competitors.
If we give you a login to an admin portal, you will keep the credentials to people who need them and tell us if you think someone else is using the account.
Your customers' information
On a website we run for you, you are the business your customers are dealing with. You are responsible for your privacy notice, for the accuracy of your inventory, prices, hours, and offers, and for how your staff uses leads. We handle customer information for you so we can provide the service, including hosting the site and delivering leads to you and to a CRM you already use. The Privacy Policy explains this in more detail.
The Frontlot website does not collect Social Security numbers. If a DealerCenter secure credit application is placed inside the site, DealerCenter handles that application. Optional tools you turn on, such as Capital One pre-qualification, are provided by that company under its own terms.
Acceptable use
You will not:
- Break the law, or help someone else break it, with the website or a site we run for you
- Mislead shoppers about price, availability, financing, or who they are talking to
- Send false information through the demo form, or try to probe, overload, or break the site
- Upload inventory, photos, or other content you do not have the right to use
- Resell or copy the Frontlot product to offer a competing service
We may refuse a form submission, take down a preview, or suspend a service that is being used this way.
Content and ownership
The Frontlot name, logo, site text, design, and software belong to Frontlot or its licensors. You keep ownership of your business name, logo, inventory, photos, and other materials you give us. You give us permission to use those materials to build a preview or to provide the service you asked for, and to host them for that purpose.
Estimates and AI answers
Out-the-door prices, payment estimates, tax and DMV figures, remaining factory warranty, battery figures, and range maps are estimates meant to help a shopper. They are not an offer of credit, not a decision by a government agency, and not a promise of how a car will perform. A deal voucher is an estimate, not an approval. AI website chat can be wrong. You and your staff are responsible for what you tell a customer and for the deal you actually make.
Other companies' services
The website and the dealer sites depend on other companies. On frontlot.ai those include Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics 4, and FormSubmit to email demo and preview requests. On a dealer site they can include your CRM, your inventory feed, Google, Meta, DealerCenter, and Capital One, when you use those. Their terms govern their own services. We are not responsible for an outage or a policy change at a company we do not control. If an inventory feed fails, the site is built to keep the last complete inventory up, but we cannot list cars the feed never sent.
Disclaimers
The website and the services are provided as available. To the fullest extent California law allows, Frontlot disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a shopper will find you, contact you, or buy a car.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent California law allows, Frontlot is not liable for lost profits, lost leads, lost goodwill, lost data, or other indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for a claim about the website or a service will not exceed the amount you paid Frontlot for that service in the three months before the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us.
These limits do not apply where California law does not allow them, including liability for our fraud or willful misconduct. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Claims about your content
If a third party claims that inventory, photos, offers, or instructions you gave us infringe their rights or break the law, you will be responsible for the damages and reasonable costs that result, except to the extent Frontlot caused the claim by changing the material in a way you did not ask for. We will tell you about a claim like that promptly.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. Continued use of the website after that means the new terms apply to the website. A change here does not rewrite a paid agreement you already have, except as that agreement itself allows.
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
California law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in California are the venue for disputes arising out of these terms or the website, and you agree to that venue. Please email hello@frontlot.ai first. We would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
