The EV dealer website, made for EV buyers.
Free range and battery health info on EV listings.

01 · The problem
Most dealers pay five vendors and still miss leads.
A website company, a call center or BDC, an ad agency, someone for social, and a CRM. Each one has its own login, its own invoice and its own idea of what a lead is.
Leads arrive when nobody is there
Shoppers browse at night and on Sundays. A form that waits until Monday is a form someone else answers first.
Nobody owns the whole picture
The ad agency can't see the CRM, the website vendor can't see the phones, and you end up as the glue.
Slow, dated websites
Template sites built years ago load slowly on phones, and shoppers leave before the first photo shows up.
02 · Design
Pick your look
Your site comes in three looks, set up with your logo, colors and stores. Every look has the same inventory search, car pages, checkout, finance and trade-in forms and AI chat; you pick the style. The demos below are live sites for made-up dealers with sample cars, so click around.

Classic
Bold red and black, with a dark hero and quick search links.

03 · Features that sell cars
Everything a shopper needs to say yes, on your site
These run on a live dealer site today. The screenshots are from the Classic demo site.

Car pages that answer the questions
Gallery, a plain-English write-up built from the car's own data, key features, price and payment estimate, CARFAX link, test drive, trade-in and similar cars. On phones, a price and Start purchase bar stays on screen.
Open this car page on the Classic demo (opens in a new tab) →
One search bar that understands shoppers
On every page. Shoppers type the way they talk, like "model y under 30k", and get real filters. A VIN, the last 6 of a VIN or a stock number works too, so your staff can use it on the phone.
Try the search on the Classic demo (opens in a new tab) →Checkout with an out-the-door price
Cash or finance, the shopper's ZIP, then an itemized estimate: sales tax from California's tax agency for that ZIP, each DMV fee, and any add-ons. If the tax rate can't be found, it says so instead of guessing.
Pre-qualification and your credit app
A pre-qualification estimate with no credit check, and your DealerCenter secure credit application inside the site, so applications go straight into DealerCenter. Capital One pre-qualification can be switched on too.
A deal voucher to bring in
After checkout the shopper gets a printable voucher with their own numbers, and a link your team can text or email. It's clearly an estimate, not an approval.
EV battery health
EV pages show a labeled battery figure: a test result, the range the car shows at full charge, or an estimate for its age and miles, so shoppers can see whether it was tested or estimated. Plus EPA range, charging, a battery calculator and Tesla battery warranty left.
Remaining factory warranty
Each car page estimates the factory warranty left (basic, powertrain, and EV or hybrid battery) from the maker's published terms, the model year and the miles. It's always labeled as an estimate to confirm with the dealer, and cars with coverage clearly left get a badge by the title.
Factory options from the VIN
Options decoded from each car's VIN build data, with their original MSRPs and a line like "Includes $1,758 in factory options" on the car page and listing card. Only options the decode marks as installed are shown, never guessed. No build data, no section.
AI website chat
Answers shoppers on your site around the clock and sends each lead to the CRM you already use. On our live dealer site that's DealerCenter and the dealer's BDC tool.
Trade-in and finance forms
Value-my-trade, test drive, availability and finance forms on every car, each sent to your CRM with the car attached.
04 · Found on Google and AI search
Made for Google, and for the AI assistants shoppers now ask
Shoppers search "used Model Y near me" on Google, and more of them ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. Your site is built so both can read every car and every store clearly.
Every car, described for search engines
Structured data (schema.org) on every page tells Google what each listing is: the car, its price, VIN, mileage and store, plus your dealership, hours and FAQs.
Local pages for each store and nearby city
A page for each store and for the cities around it, with directions and local FAQs. One live dealer site on our template has 27 city pages across four counties.
Landing pages from your live inventory
Pages for each make and model, body style, price range and EVs, like "used Tesla Model Y" or "cars under $25,000", updated as cars come and go.
SEO blog posts for your store and city
Included with the website service: blog posts written for your store, your cars and your city, published on your site. On our live dealer site, 197 existing articles moved over at their original addresses.
Ready for AI search
An llms.txt file with your dealership facts and inventory, a robots.txt that lets AI crawlers like GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot in, and plain answers they can quote.
Old addresses keep working
When our live dealer site switched to the template, we checked all 1,187 addresses from the old site's sitemap. Every one lands on a working page, so links and search history carry over.
No one can promise rankings, and we won't. We build the site so search engines can read it well, then keep working on it every month.
05 · Speed and tech
Built new, not patched onto old code
Plenty of dealer websites still run on platforms built years ago, with layers of old code and widgets added on top. Frontlot sites are built on Next.js 16 and React 19, a current web framework, and tested the same way Google tests pages.
Lighthouse, home page, desktop
Measured October 15, 2026
3 lab runs, October 15, 2026 · live dealer site on our template
LCP 0.5 s · CLS 0
Google Lighthouse 12.8 lab test of the home page of a live dealer site running our template, desktop, three runs with the same score each time. These are lab scores only: Google's real-visitor Core Web Vitals data was not available for this test, so we don't claim a pass.
Pages ready before the shopper asks
Car pages and landing pages are built ahead of time and served from Vercel's edge network, so the first screen shows up fast.
Photos sized for each screen
Every photo is resized and sent in modern formats (AVIF or WebP), so phones don't download desktop-size pictures.
Widgets wait their turn
Chat, ad tags and other tools load after the page is ready, so they don't hold up the first view.
Your inventory, kept fresh
The site reloads your inventory feed every 15 minutes. If the feed has a bad moment, the last complete lot stays up.
- Framework
- Next.js 16 and React 19, written in TypeScript
- Hosting
- Vercel's edge network, pages cached close to the shopper
- Images
- Resized automatically, AVIF and WebP
- Leads
- Sent as ADF/XML, the format dealer CRMs accept
06 · Built for independent dealers
One template, built for independents and running on a real lot
Frontlot is an independent company that builds and runs dealer websites for independent dealers only: one or a few stores, a used-car lot, a small team that wears every hat. Our template already runs a live site for a two-store independent dealer in Southern California, moved over from an older platform without breaking old addresses. Every number below was measured on that site on the date shown.

Live site
Live example: Premium Autos
A two-store independent dealer in Southern California with about 500 cars listed, scoring 100 for speed and SEO on Google's desktop test (lab, Oct 15, 2026).

10 · FAQ
Questions dealers ask
Do I have to switch my CRM?
No. Leads go into the CRM you already use. On our live dealer site, every website chat lead lands in DealerCenter and the dealer's BDC tool.
Is the AI phone agent answering real customers today?
Not yet. AI website chat answers shoppers on our live dealer site today. The phone and text agent is built and in owner-only testing, and we don't publish call results until it is answering customers.
Will my customers know they're talking to AI?
Yes. Our AI introduces itself as an AI assistant, and hot leads are handed to your staff.
Is pricing per store?
Yes. Every plan is per location, per month. A dealer with two stores pays for two locations.
Who pays for ads?
On Full Growth, you pay Google and Meta directly for ad spend. Our fee covers running the campaigns.
I'm not a car dealer. Can I use Frontlot?
Yes. For shops, restaurants and med spas we're building a version without inventory pages, at about half the dealer price. Ask about it on your demo call.
Can you promise my site will rank first on Google?
No, and be careful with anyone who does. We build the site so Google and AI assistants can read every car and store clearly, keep your old web addresses working, and add pages and blog posts for your store and city every month. Rankings depend on a lot we don't control, like your reviews and your competitors.
Can I keep my DealerCenter credit application?
Yes. On our live dealer site the DealerCenter secure credit application sits inside the site, so applications go straight into DealerCenter and the website never handles Social Security numbers.
How long does setup take?
It depends on how many stores you have and where your inventory comes from. You get a firm date on the demo call.
